This is a current model made in 1999/2000 by the watch division of OFFICINE PANERAI and was acquired by Vendome Luxury Group.

Dial :
Signed & original black dial with no. 12, 3, 6 shown, sub seconds at 9 o'clock, luminous hour marking appears to be in MINT condition with no visible damage. Hands are also in MINT condition.
Case :
Signed huge polished stainless steel 316L (Very High Grade Chemical Resistance Stainless Steel) case (measured 44mm in diameter without lugs) appears to be in Fairly GOOD / GOOD condition with light scratches from wear. Also a small nick on the bezel at 6:00 position. Screw back cover is fully signed and appears to be in good / excellent condition. Sapphire slight dome shaped crystal is MINT with no scratch.  Blue steel hands. Watch comes with a Black Waterproof leather strap which is in worn / used condition with. Also comes with a brown military type leather strap in Like New Condition.

The locking device at 3:00 position is for holding the crown onto the case to avoid water from entering. This has been a patented design for Panerai.

Size Measured = 44mm without lugs & crown.

Signed & original 17 Jewels manual wind movement with 44 Hours Power Reserve..
Remarks :
This one for sale has been a later "B" series which is the 2nd limited reproduction 3000 pcs watch by LUMINOR (according to the reference letter from the manufacturer, 3000 pieces of this particular model were being produced for 1999/2000 series, last production was in 1996 which can be found in "ANTIQUORUM" catalogue).

The company decided to keep the production in small quantity as they used to. The watch has been produced in 3000 pieces. The number B1690 / 3000 indicated on the back cover is the limited number of watches produced.

B = identification letter;

1690 = the watch number

3000 = the number of watches produced during the year.

Runs well and keeps good time.
