Dial :
Signed Mat Black Dial appears to be in excellent condition with only one small spot mark at 4:00 which can hardly be seen. Typical Military Hallmarking at 12:00 & at 6:00 (As Shown On Scan). Hour / Minute / Second Hands are all Original and appears to be in excellent condition.

Dial Markings Detail :~
The capital 'T' in the circle has nothing to do with the military symbol 'the Broad Arrow' on the lower half of the dial. The 'T' only indicates that the light-emitting material on the dial contains the element Tritium. The Broad Arrow however is an old marking or logo indicating: "from the King" or nowadays "government issued property".

Case :
Signed original SS case appears to be in good condition. Screw Back Cover has typical military arrow marking & Reference Nos. "6645/101000, 6B/542, 9677/53" engraved at the back (As Shown on Scan). This watch differ from most military watch, it has an Anti-Magnetic inner dust cover to protect the movement from dust and magnetic field during operation. Crown is signed. Plastic crystal.

The Code 6645 10100 as shown on the photo is the NATO stock number, 6B/ 542 is an administrative 'vocab' number, 9677 is the issue-number and /53 indicates the watch was issued in 1953.

Movement :
Signed original 16 Jewels Cal.283 manual wind movement is excellent and clean. Runs well and keeps good time.

(Remarks : As per research from books, I have noticed that this Cal.283 movement is actually part of the Cal.280 series movement includes Cal.280, 281, 282....286 which was 1st introduced in 1949 starting with Cal.280. This Cal.280 movement has been renamed and modified from the Cal.30T2SC 16 Jewels movement which also has a 30mm diameter.).

Remarks :
Runs well and keep good time. Watch is overall in good / excellent condition.
