Descriptions :
ROLEX Staybrite Vintage 3-Reg. Manual Wind Chronograph with Flat Pushers. Circa 1940s.
Dial :
Signed Silver-Tone dial appears to have been earlier refinished but as shown on scan that the refinish job has been done very nicely. Tachymater outer ring in blue. 60 minute inner ring in black. Signed Rolex at 12:00 and SWISS MADE at the bottom of 6:00. Blue steel hands are all in reasonably good condition.
Case :
Signed and original staybrite case with reference no. 322718 stamped on the inside appears to in excellent condition with only minor light scratches shown on the side of the bezel ring and a few light open marks on the edge of the snap back cover. Snap type back cover is quite nice and tight and is signed with a ROLEX crown on the outside as shown and fully signed with "ACIER STAYBRITE ROLEX 25 RECORDS UNUIVERSELS GENEVE SUISSE 322718". Also with the R.W.C. Ltd. logo. The flat pushers are all in very good shape. Crown is non-signed but I was told that it is also original.

Size Measured = 34mm with out lugs and crown.

Movement :
Signed and original Rolex 17 Jewels manual wind movement appears to be in reasonably good condition. Watch has been sitting in the safe for quite some time which need a service and overhaul (Service & Overhaul will be included). There is no particular numbers on the movement but surely I have no reason to say this is not a Rolex movement. Some earlier Rolex movement like those on the 1st Oyster are sometimes not signed.
Remarks :
Watch itself do run quite well, the only thing that I have noticed is that the chronograph function doesn't reset well which caused by lack of oil (As I have said, the watch has been in the safe for quite long) which all it need is a good clean and overhaul. The overhaul will take a bit of time but will be included with no extra cost. From my point of view, this is a very rare watch and hard to find. The only thing I think that can be picked on is the refinished dial which appears to me is very nicely done (as shown on scan).
