Descriptions :
Rolex Solid 9K Rose Gold Sub-Second Manual Wind WW with Black Enamel Dial. Hinged Lugs. Circa Mid-1910s.
Dial :
Signed Black Enamel Dial appears to be in MINT condition which looks to me is original. White Enamel number hour markings. Signed "ROLEX" at 12:00. White Sub-Second at 6:00. Hands are original which were supposed to be blue steel but have now aged as shown.
Case :
Signed and original hallmarked solid 9K rose gold case appears to be in reasonably fair / good condition with minor nick on the side of the case. Screw type back cover has reference nos. "758064" & signed "ROLEX / BREVET DEPOSE / W&D 9K AND SWISS". Case back cover has light engraving with date "25-12-1917" which dated the watch back to the Mid 1910s. Rare hinged lugs which takes a 12mm leather strap. 

Size Measured = 32mm without lugs and crown.

Movement :
Signed and original manual wind 15 jewels Swiss made movement appears to be in nice and clean condition.
Remarks :
Watch runs well and keeps reasonably good time. This to me is a rather hard to find early Rolex with hinged lugs.
