Descriptions :
Jaeger-LeCoultre / Cartier Solid 18KYG Hooded Lugs Sub-Second Wrist Watch. Circa 1940s / 50s. Rare & Excellent Condition. Original Dial.
Dial :
Signed and Original Cream colored Dial with fanncy lines pattern appears to be in excellent / mint condition. The only flaw that I can pick on dial is the small scratch mark at the bottom left of the sub-second dial. otherwise dial is nice & excellent.
Case :
The case is not signed but has 18K Gold Hallmark which I was told normally used by Cartier. Case back and case body are being held together by 4 tiny screws on both side of the watch. As you know that Cartier do have similar model made in the 40s. Case appears to be in Excellent condition with Very Rare & Unusual Hooded LUGS.

Case Reference No. : 87848

Size Measured = 27mm x 27mm (without lugs) & 40mm with lugs.

Movement :
Signed Jaeger-LeCoultre / Swiss Movement has Ref.1529xx appears to be in MINT & Clean Condition (As Shown).
Remarks :
This is a very rare Jaeger-LeCoultre Hooded Lugs Wrist Watch. I was told according to the design and hallmark of this watch, this is actually a CARTIER design watch made by Jaeger-LeCoultre in the 1940s/50s. It is surely a highly collectable JLC / Cartier Watch.

It has been recently serviced. Runs well & keeps good time.
