Rare and Unusual I.W.C. Stainless Steel
"Tunning Fork" wrist watch with date (Quick Set). Circa 1970s. This is the 1st IWC Tunning Fork watch that I have seen. I have seen "Omega Speedsonic" & "Bulova Accutron" in the pass but to be honest this is the 1st time I see IWC watch with Tunning Fork Quartz movement. |
Dial : |
Signed Original Silver tone Dial is in excellent / mint condition with no visible aging mark. Metal applied IWC logo at 12:00 and Silver / Black 2-Tone applied hour markings. |
Case : |
Signed original SS case appears to be in good / excellent conditon with minor scratches from wear over the years. Case appears to have never been polished. Signed Snap back cover is nice and tight with Ref. 2025730 inside the case back. Crown has typical IWC fish logo (Non-Screw Type). |
Movement : |
Signed Original 12J Tunning Fork movement is nice and clean (As shown on scan). Powered by single battery. Movement is signed IWC Swiss, Cal.150 and has Bulova patent (Like Omega Tunning Fork watch also patented by Bulova). Serial No.2184xxx. |
Remarks : |
Remarks : Runs well and keep excellent time.
Watch is overall in excellent condition. Watch comes with brand new leather strap. For those who know Accutron movement, although it is a quartz movement but the second's hand does not move step-by-step, in fact it runs smooth. |
